Ph.D., Ed.D. and M.Ed.
The FAU higher education program specialization in educational leadership includes Ph.D., Ed.D. and M.Ed. degrees with a strong emphasis in leadership, experiential education and research. Doctoral graduates are required to complete 18 semester hours in leadership and 12 hours in experiential education. Masters graduate must complete 12 semester hours in leadership and 3 hours of experiential education. Courses are offered at night and on weekends with doctoral cohorts formed every few years. Most doctoral students are employed full time in higher education leadership positions and aspire to more responsive executive leaders positions.
